Transient Energy of an Individual Machine PART I: Stability Characterization

چکیده

The individual-machine-equal-area-criterion method already shows potential in the transient stability assessment of multimachine systems. This two-paper series systematically analyzes characteristics system trajectory from a genuine individual-machine energy perspective. In first paper, property that characterizes critical machine is investigated by defining residual kinetic energy, which only occurs at maximum point. We indicate conversion inside can delineate machine. this way, mapping between and hence be established. Simulation results show describes more precisely than superimposed global terms analysis, we also demonstrate conjecture early studies might fail special simulation cases.
